In anticipation of the upcoming Mt. Airy Village Farmers Market, I visited one of the farms who will be participating - the Weavers Way Farm at the Mort Brooks Memorial Farm in Germantown. One of the most awesome aspects of partaking in a local food system is the ability to actually see your food in the ground, before it's picked. I am excited to see some of these veggies at the farm- stand this Thursday. You should be too!
